C.S.Badrinath
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Badrinath is a Chartered Accountant by profession and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India.

Mr. Badrinath has been with the Zubair Group for the last 27 years having handled different finance functions and is presently the Chief Executive Officer for the Group. Mr. Badrinath is a member of all the monitoring and executive committees and shareholders’ forums of the Zubair Group of companies. He also represents the Zubair Group as Director in many of the public limited companies.

S. Lakshminarayan
Chief Legal Officer

Mr. Lakshminarayan started his career in the Indian operations of the German chemical giant BASF, handling the taxation and legal functions. He then worked in the pharmaceutical sector and was the Company Secretary of the French multinational Rhone Poulenc. After 15 years of work in Mumbai, Laksh decided to move to Muscat in 1993, and joined the Zubair Group as the Corporate Secretary. He is presently designated as Chief Legal Officer based at the Corporate Office overseeing the legal, audit and taxation functions of the entire Group.

Laksh holds a graduate degree in both Commerce and Law with a post-graduate degree in Management from the University of Bombay, and professional qualifications of being a long-standing member of The Institute of the Chartered Accountants of India, The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India and The Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He is married with two daughters. His other interests include reading and sports.

Rogeh Hajj
Chief Information Officer

Rogeh is our Chief Information Officer looking after the technology and systems across the group. With over 18 years of progressive experience in IT Management with multinational companies in the Middle East, mainly in retail, distribution, manufacturing, telecom and IT, trading and investments, including overseeing the entire technology operations on regional level.

As CIO, Rogeh is responsible for the Group’s IT strategy, the planning and implementation of the group’s current and future IT needs and overlooking the entire IT Operations.

Rogeh holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business and Management studies. He is married with 2 children aged 5 and 1. Outside of work he spends time with his family and enjoys sports and reading.

Mohammad Mehkari
Senior Programme Manager

Mohammad joined the CEO’s Office as Senior Programme Manager and will support the CEO in many areas, including the setting up and monitoring of projects, change programmes, KPIs, championing the implementation of modern business thinking and undertaking key strategic projects as required.

Mohammad holds an MBA, and having grown up in Saudi Arabia, adds fluent Arabic to his skills set. He joins us from the U.S.A., where he has been working as Director of Network and IT Operations for a major family owned Pharmacy chain with some 150 stores. Mohammad’s wife is a surgeon, and they have three daughters, aged 3 and twins of 16 months.

Mohammad Al Farei
General Manager - Zeenah Group

Mohammad started his career in 1997 at The Zubair Corporation. He has vast experience in handling various projects within the group, working closely as an Assistant to the Chairman and Manager to the Board of Directors Office.

He was responsible for establishing Oman’s leading advertising agency, TBWA\ZEENAH, and managing its international and local teams. In the capacity of General Manager, he has played an active role in both launching and marketing of many international and local brands in the Automotive, Hospitality, Education, Culture, Airline, IT, FMCG and Banking market.

In a separate capacity, Mohammad also manages other leading businesses involved in the FMCG, Retail and Corporate areas.

Mohammad completed his education in Business Management from UK in 1999.
