| The college offers three unique programs in higher education and vocational training: a Diploma of Higher Education of Fire Safety Engineering, a Diploma of Higher Education in Well Engineering and a Diploma of Higher Education in Facilities Management, which is new to Oman and concentrates on educating students in the ever-growing job market of facilities managers. |

On the vocational side, FSEC provides training on fire, rescue, health and safety to government bodies, oil and gas companies, airports and other clients around the world. The College has strong links with the University of Central Lancashire. By 2006 there were 1,000 full-time higher education students as well as several thousand vocational students on short training programs.
