The college offers five unique programmes in higher education:
- BSc- Well Engineering,
- BSc- Fire Safety (Engineering)
- BSc- Fire Safety (Management)
- BSc- Facilities Management
- BSc- Health, Safety and Environmental Management.
BSc- Health, Safety and Environmental Management is new to Oman and concentrates on educating students in the ever-growing job market of health and safety managers. The college is licensed by the Ministry of Higher Education in Oman and is also affiliated to the University of Central Lancashire in the UK.
The first three years of the courses are studied at the college and lead to Bachelor Degree qualifications. Students who complete the three years successfully may progress to a fourth year at the UK University to complete a Honours Degree: BEng(Hons) Mechanical Engineering (Well Engineering), BSc(Hons) Fire Safety (Engineering), BSc(Hons) Fire Safety (Management), BSc(Hons) Facilities Management and BSc(Hons) Health, Safety and Environmental Management.
On the vocational side, the Fire & Safety Engineering College (a Division of ICEM) provides training on fire, rescue, health and safety to government bodies, oil and gas companies, airports and other clients around the world. An average of 1,000 full-time higher education students as well as several thousand vocational students on short training programs.
