| Larsen & Toubro (Oman) L.L.C. (LTO) was set up in 1994 to supply quality products and services in the construction sector, with specialisation in turnkey projects. The company is a joint venture between Larsen & Toubro Ltd, India’s leading engineering and construction company, and The Zubair Corporation. |

Larsen & Toubro’s specialisation covers innovative, cost-effective construction techniques and total project management skills for vital sectors such as cement, power, petrochemical, refineries, oil and gas, fertilisers, high-rise buildings, maritime structures and transmission line towers. It has more than 50 years of experience in these fields.
The company is currently overseeing twelve projects, including a number in Sohar: the Palm Garden for the Saud Bahwan Group, a tie-up with the Sohar Industrial Port to establish Oman’s first facility for large oil rigs and structures (a major milestone in its hydrocarbon trail), a Power Substation, construction of multi-storey apartments and villas and the greenfield township project, to mention a few.
Through its joint venture with The Zubair Corporation, Larsen & Toubro has been closely involved in the development of key sectors of Oman’s economy. Today it is one of the largest companies in Oman offering turnkey construction services for a wide range of projects.
